"When a graduate student did his research with us, we found that many contracts were continuing while we thought they had already expired. We made savings on that right away. We're still doing that." The finance manager goes on to say, "I just terminated the lease on a building; if that had continued, you're talking about a cost of three thousand euros a month."
 
The project manager also mentions the ability to negotiate more sharply with suppliers now that (almost) all contracts are available at headquarters. There, estimated savings run into the tens of thousands of euros. In the end, contract management proves to be a good investment: "Those amounts are disproportionate to the cost of the software."
