How can one keep track of an automatic contract extension efficiently?

A contract is often signed for a certain term with a starting point and extension. To guarantee the continuity of the extension after the end date, automatic renewal clauses are included in contracts. How can the renewed agreements be entered into the system again? How can one ensure that users remain in full control? If the agreement has been made to deliver a timely report, what would be the best method to fulfill the new contract period? What is the best way to plan improvement measures for the new contract period? These are all legitimate questions that can help improve the organization and fulfill agreements.

Scheduling an (end date) task automatically after an automatic contract extension
